epRider Shipping and Return Policy

epRider stocks thousands of unique items in store located in Etobicoke, however, epRider also has access to millions of additional products from Partner Suppliers. Items purchased on WebStore, Available In Retail Store will be ready for pick-up, or shipped directly to you, same day or up to 2 days, In Our Warehouse, may take up to 7+ days to first be ordered and received from the Warehouse before they are ready for pick-up In Store, or shipped to you.

When making a purchase from epRider WebStore, epRider absorbs shipping costs for products from Warehouse to Shop. epRider will ship most accessory WebStore purchases directly to you for costs similar to Canada Post Expedited Trackable service. Price varies by parcel weight and dimension.
 
Some items will have additional charges and some items cannot be shipped, this will be communicated to you before your card is charged. Most average shoe box sized parcels will be about $15 in ON/QC, $25 elsewhere in Canada and $30 to the US. Return shipping to the shop is the responsibility of the purchaser. Any returned WebStore purchase will be assessed a $20.00 restocking fee. In-store pick-up items, not picked up within 30 days, will be assessed a 15% restocking fee and the $20 handling fee if it was from Warehouse, with the balance returned as in-store credit to your account.
 

e-Bike Shipping

 

e-Bikes purchased on epRider WebStore cannot be shipped. You may complete an online order for any e-Bike and accessories for pick-up at our Shop in Etobicoke.

 
epRider WebStore is meant to help both of us. Human Beings enter all the information and code on our WebStore Platform and humans have been known to make mistakes. When we uncover an error we reserve the right to cancel the order and make a correction in our system. We appreciate you understanding that mistakes happen and that you are not trying to take advantage of us and we apologize in advance for this oversight and inconveniences mistakes can cause.
 
Please use the Additional Information area to communicate directly with us if needed. We read and will personally respond to every order. We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to see your transaction information.
 
epRider In-store Return Policy
 
In Store Accessory purchases can be returned within 14-days if the product and packaging are in original condition with purchase receipt. Exceptions to this include Car Racks, Child Transport, Cycling Shorts and Undergarments.
 
epRider has a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for e-Bike purchases. e-Bikes are non-refundable, however, within the 14-day period, epRider will exchange for an equal or greater value replacement. Exchanged e-Bikes will be assessed for wear and tear before the exchange is completed, additional charges may be incurred for dirt, rips, tears, drive-train wear , etc., or if the e-Bike requires cleaning or replacement parts to be made new.
 
All refunds are done in the same method with which items were purchased.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

epRider will act on your behalf with Suppliers/Manufacturers we do business with. epRider will process items within the confines of the various Warranties offered. The purchaser is solely responsible for return shipping costs to the Supplier/Manufacturer, these charges will be paid in advance of an item being processed. Even though the item does not have to be purchased from a epRiderOriginal proof of purchase is always required for Warranty, regardless of the term of Warranty.
Warranties are against Manufacturer Defects — best rule of thumb, “If An Outside Force Acted On It, It Is NOT Warranty”. Warranties are non-transferable, any online secondary or used purchases, from sites such as eBay, will void any warranty a product may have had.
 

epRider General Consumer Warranty,

The parts warranty is provided with the purchase of a new e-bike, this is covered by each brand/manufacturer; warranty can range from twelve to twenty-four months. Warranty applicable to original registered owner ONLY, this is non-transferable. 

epRider charges *100% (read end of the page) labor rates for any warranty related issues, as well as warranty processing, for example: Diagnosing the problem, parts installation, overhauling and/or cleaning.

Commercial Use Warranty,

epRider cover parts warranty for up to 1,000 kms or 6 Months for Manufacturer defects only. For complete warranty information, please see the supplied documentation included with your eBike. Manufacturers have the right to decline warranty claims for commercial use bikes at any given time.

What Can Void Your Warranty,

the following situations are excluded from this warranty or lead to exclusion from this warranty:

– Warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions from eBikes used commercially or ebikes that have been lent, leased, rented commercially, or used for any commercial purposes (delivery services, courier services, etc). The unlicensed commercial use of bikes will result in a warranty voidance.

– eBikes with technical alterations that have been made without the approval of the manufacturer (i.e. using third-party batteries, chargers, etc)

– eBikes with alterations or additions of incompatible parts/components or non-original parts

– damage to or failure of eBikes resulting from storing the bike improperly, inclement weather, or ordinary normal wear and tear.

– epRider is not responsible for the theft, robbery, vandalism, intentional damage, damage resulting from bumps and scrapes after eBike has been delivered to the buyer.

– epRider is not responsible and will not cover Incidental/consequential damage or injury. Please refer to the owner’s manual. 

– epRider will not cover damage caused by improper transport. Damage resulting from loading an ebike above the maximum weight recommendation 126 kg (~ 275lbs) including the weight of the eBike, transporting the bike utilizing a car rack not meant to support the added weight, or failure to secure the bike or any of its components will not be covered by the warranty.

– epRider will not cover damage resulting from improper maintenance (e.g., storing a battery fully discharged over the winter, storing the eBike outdoors, not servicing the eBike in regular intervals). Please refer to your owner’s manual or visit your local bike shop to establish a servicing schedule. 

– epRider will not cover damage resulting from any electrical component that has been opened, altered, partially disassembled, or completely disassembled by the buyer or a third-party shop.

– epRider will not cover assembly or disassembly in a manner not authorized or suggested by the manufacturer. Repairs attempted by anyone did not authorize that result in damage to the components will not be covered by warranty. 

– epRider will not cover damage due to improper adjustment of components or damage resulting from worn components, negligence, or improper servicing of an eBike. 

– epRider is not responsible nor will cover damage resulting from an accident or crash. 

– Damage caused by high-pressure spraying/improper cleaning of any electrical or mechanical components will not be covered.

– epRider will not pay for any third-party service or part replacement unless agreed upon prior to the fix.

– epRider will not cover any damage caused using a third-party battery charger.

  • Bump stops in forks and shock systems
  • Coatings on fork stanchions and shock absorber pistons
  • Moving parts made from rubber
  • Brake pads
  • Brake disks
  • Seals
  • Springs
  • Rim flanges/braking surfaces
  • Freewheel bodies
  • Slide rings and plain bushes
  • Bar grips and handlebar tape
  • Cassettes, cogs, chain rings
  • Chains
  • Bearings and bearing seatings
  • Airtight seals/O-rings
  • Tires
  • Shifting lever rubber coatings
  • Shifting components
  • Foam parts
  • Fenders, chain guide
  • Actuating cables and housing
  • Spokes
  • Dust rings
  • Kickstands

*epRider is not responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages, including without limitation, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or product liability in connection with their products.

*For warranty submission there will be a flat rate fee of $39.99 to inspect and diagnose all eBikes purchased from epRider, eBikes not purchased from epRider are subject to a $124.99 inspection fee for warranty related issues, Submit to Manufacture, & Special-Order part. eBike needs to be within Warranty time period, under the mileage restrictions, and be maintained. Part installation is extra. Commercial use (Delivery) has limited warranty period.
